Meagan Good was born on August 8, 1981, was raised within Panorama City in Los Angeles by her father Leondis Leon Good and Tyrawardlow-Doyle. Tyra worked for her as a manager during her teenage years. The family grew up in Canyon Country with her three siblings in California. At 4 years old, she began acting. She began her acting career as an actress in television shows like Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. At the age of 13, she starred in her debut film Friday. The film first caught the attention of her performance as troubled teen Cisely Batiste in Eve's Bayou in 1997 for where she won two awards nominations. One of them was her very first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good began with small roles on film and television for a couple of years, and then moved into adult roles in the early 2000s. She was Nina, Nickelodeon T.V.'s Cousin Skeeter. It ran from 1998 until 2001. In addition, she was offered minor parts in the movies House Party: Down to the last second as well as 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott in the comedy My Wife and Kids. She was on D.E.B.S (2004) which was a comedy action film. The film earned her the award of Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards for 2005. In the following years she was a part of many films, including You GotServed The Cookout Venom One miss call at Waistdeep as well as The Love Guru. When she was active in 2012 she was also appearing on T.V. Her film roles include Mya (in The Think Like a Man, starring a number of actors) as well as her character, Ms. Stevens (in Dysfunctional Friends). Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer studied at Baylor University Waco Texas. There she received an B.F.A. Degree in performing arts was obtained in 2010. The year 2010 marked the beginning of her screen career with If she Can Dream, a web series. Kara Killmer, who had been in numerous local productions prior to making her screen debut in 2010 on Simon Fuller's Hulu program If I Can Dream. The series revolved around an ensemble of individuals who started living at the posh location of Hollywood California.
